Jake and Krista, high school sweethearts from New Jersey, have combined their professional expertise in creative production and content strategy to launch Senza, an allergen-free food brand born from personal experience. When Krista's sister was diagnosed with Celiac disease and struggled to find satisfying gluten-free alternatives, especially for beloved childhood foods like pastina, Krista decided to create a solution. Their flagship product, Lil Pastina—tiny star-shaped pasta free from gluten and the top 9 common allergens—brings the comfort of Italian cooking to those with dietary restrictions. Following a company closure in early 2024, the couple fully committed to this venture, viewing Eat Senza as more than just a business but a way to make food joyful and worry-free for everyone, with plans to expand beyond pasta to other pantry staples.
