Xocolatl was founded by Elaine and Matt after they moved to Costa Rica with their young children. Befriending local chocolate makers, they discovered pure, flavorful dark chocolate made from local cacao—vastly different from mass-produced varieties. Inspired, they learned chocolate-making to share this experience with Atlanta. Since then, Xocolatl’s award-winning chocolates use only quality ingredients while maintaining direct trade relationships with cacao farmers to ensure fair pay and sustainability. “We hope our chocolate brings you the same joy and sense of adventure that inspired our journey!”
