Beginnings
Once upon a time, when Alex and I were planning our Cape Cod wedding, we hit that classic roadblock: what do you give the awesome people who traveled miles to celebrate with you?
We wanted something meaningful but not cheesy, useful but still special. Between venue hunting and vow writing, our perfect gift idea remained... perfectly elusive.
That wedding planning headache became Willinglee—our way of helping couples actually nail the “thank you” gifts without the stress we faced. We decided to ease the lives of gift-givers everywhere.
Then, as the pandemic turned everything upside down and we both pivoted careers, we thought, "Why not build something together?" That's when Willinglee sprouted—born from our mission to make gift-giving fun again. We'd watched too many friends panic-buy random stuff that collected dust, so we created the solution we wished we'd had: thoughtful, curated gifts you can send without leaving your couch (or wedding planning spreadsheets).
