If you know someone who likes to whip up a cocktail every now and again or enjoys hosting people for dinner, this gift box is perfect for them.

We kept this box simple and focused on a key ingredient used in cocktails: syrup. A cane-sugar-based syrup is the best way to get a drink to really sing. It’s a perfect complement to the bite of liquor and the acid from citrus fruits.

We sourced our syrups from Liber & Co. in Austin, TX. They have been making craft syrups since 2014, have won countless awards, been featured on CNBC’s Billion Dollar Buyer, and ship their syrups all over the U.S. to some of the most established and notable bars and restaurants. They spend months developing each new syrup and source the highest quality raw ingredients from all over the world.

ABBY
The Liber crew is the best. (I mean—just look at these handsome guys!) Robert, Adam, and Chris—as well as their team—are simply good people. Because I know very little about the cocktail world, I trust them with all of my cocktail needs. They even created our signature wedding cocktail! BEST. GIFT. EVER.

We selected two syrups to choose from in this gift box. The first is Tropical Passion Fruit, a must-have for any tiki drink. It pairs wonderfully with rum, gin, and tequila and adds a beautiful color to the drink. It’s a real crowd-pleaser for anyone who enjoys hosting people in the warmer months, or for someone that, every now and again, wants a little escape to a tropical island.

ABBY
The Tropical Passionfruit is my personal fave.

ALEX
The second is an upgrade to a fundamental ingredient in cocktails: gum syrup. Gum syrup is an incredibly versatile and useful syrup that is used in hundreds of cocktails, from Old Fashioned’s to Mint Juleps. The Demerara Gum Syrup from Liber takes classic gum syrup and adds depth of flavor by using unrefined cane sugar. It’s a big upgrade to any home bar.

ABBY
AKA, Demerara will make you look fancy. And let’s face it: we all wish we were a little fancier.

What good are cocktail ingredients without recipes? Next up in this gift box is our custom-made recipe booklet, designed by my beautiful wife.

ABBY
Babe! I’m blushing. Honestly Chris, Adam, and Robert did most of the work (even though my hand DID almost fall off after drawing all of those cocktails).

ALEX
It features 8 recipes that feature the syrup you select, including one exclusive recipe that was made specifically for Little Boxes by Liber & Co. All of these recipes are diverse and simple enough to accommodate most home bars.

ABBY
That exclusive recipe is pretty special. Don’t miss out on this.

To round out this box, we added these wonderful Rainbow Chambray Cocktail Napkins. They are designed by ATELIER SAUCIER in Venice, CA, whose ethical approach and stunning design we love.

ABBY
And by “love,” he means LOVE… like to the point where I’m questioning how much I’m willing to put our new business at risk because I kind of (really) want to keep these for ourselves.

ALEX
Their linens are sustainably-sourced, rescued, repurposed, and locally made in Downtown Los Angeles. A portion of every purchase goes back to the community to local initiatives that promote health and wellness. They’re our kind of people :) We couldn’t be more thrilled to feature them in this box!
